The Strategy Summit 2022 was held on August 6, 2022, at Radisson Blu Water Garden, organized by Valor of Bangladesh (VoB). The event was initiated by Mr. Najmus Ahmed Albab, Executive Director of VoB. In the opening notes, Mr. Anis A. Khan, Chairman of VoB, discussed the importance of good governance, while Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MD & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank Ltd., highlighted the critical intersection of environmental, social, and economic elements in sustainability.
Professor Shibli Rubaiyatul Islam, Chairman of the Bangladesh Stock Exchange Commission (BSEC), further provided an inauguration note focusing on Bangladesh’s gradual growth and the contemporary inflation scenario. The Strategy Summit 2022 featured eight pivotal panel discussions covering inflation and consumption, energy infrastructure, the forex matrix, RMG and manufacturing, agro-economics, banking and finance, the digital economy, and ESG.
By engaging stakeholders from the government, corporate sectors, academia, and development agencies, the summit successfully created a roadmap for the socio-economic landscape of Bangladesh.
