World Vision Bangladesh conducted a disseminating workshop on findings of the National Value Chain Assessment on July 5, 2018. Chairman and CEO of Innovision Consulting Private Limited, Mr. Sadruddin Imran presented the findings of the assessment which was conducted in 38 programme areas in 22 districts on 10 value chains namely Dairy, Country Chicken, Beef Fattening, Goat rearing, Duck rearing, Vegetables, Carp Fish Culture, Fruits (Banana, Papaya and Pineapple), Handicrafts, Maize Cultivation and Vocational Training. The study was conducted following the Local Value Chain Development (LVCD) model of WVB in key regions which included Greater Mymensingh Region, Central Eastern Region, Southern Bangladesh Region and Northern Bangladesh Region.
