UNDERSTANDING THE FACTORS FOR FAILURE OR SUCCESS

Innovision will work on understanding the factors for failure or success of the contracted NGOs and its link with the the procurement methods and outcome of the bidding process, preparing procurement strategy and bid document, determining relevant procurement risks and proposing mitigation measures during project preparation.

The Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project (UPHCP) is being funded by Asian Development Bank in Bangladesh. Innovison was awarded to carry out a study titled ‘Procurement Review of NGOs for Service Delivery in the Health Sector’ for Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project (UPHCSDP) which is being co-funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), United Nation’s Population Fund (UNFPA), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Bangladesh (GoB). The project was intercepted in 1998 and is now in its third phase which started in 2012.
