Tasmiah Rahman

Tasmiah Rahman is a Portfolio Director to oversee Innovision’s portfolios focused on inclusive economic growth. An economist by training, she brings 18 years of experience and deep expertise in skills development, market systems, gender inclusion, and policy advocacy. Her leadership journey includes seven years leading BRAC’s Skills Development Programme, where she managed $12 million in national programs with over 600 staff, while also building a $250 million fundraising pipeline. Prior to that, she led Swisscontact’s Monitoring Results Measurement unit.

Tasmiah has implemented more than 20 large-scale projects across Bangladesh and Nepal. Her work has supported over 7,000 entrepreneurs and contributed to designing gender-inclusive systems for more than 100 training institutes. She currently serves on the board of the Informal Sector Industry Skills Council and has contributed to global research with Yale University’s Y-Rise. She holds an MSc in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Master’s in Development Studies from BRAC University.
