Redwan B Rokon specialises in financial inclusion, payment systems, gender/SME financing, DFS, private sector development, and quantitative evaluation. He worked and collaborated with USAID, DFID, World Bank Group, UNCDF, CIDA, Norwegian MFA, WFP, DAI, and Nathan Associates, across Bangladesh, USA, England, India, Nigeria, and Myanmar in the last 7 years. Before Joining Innovision, Rokon worked as a Consultant at the World Bank Group, where he contributed to the Bangladesh Bank’s maiden circular for women SME financing, drafted the DFS strategy, managed RMG wage digitization, and designed climate smart housing finance. He has managed a portfolio of GBP 1.5 million of challenge fund projects and led MRM at the UK aid’s GBP 25 million programme – BFP-B. He is a co-founder of PROSHAR, a digital relief transfer solution. Rokon completed MSc in development studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, and BA in Economics from Middlebury College, USA.
