Modupe Ladipo is a financial inclusion expert and financial sector development specialist, nominated as one of the top 10 ‘Women in Finance’ in Nigeria by the Guardian Newspaper. She has 30 years’ diverse experience in financial services, consulting, strategy, and corporate development. Modupe has worked with a diverse range of women-owned businesses in Nigeria to identify and address their financial challenges.
Modupe is a member of Women Financing Women, which is a group of women-led and women-focused funds and investors with diverse portfolios that focus on women in Nigeria. Modupe is the former Chair of the Board of Enhancing Financial Innovation & Access (EFInA); and was the first Chief Executive Officer. Modupe is one of the pioneers of financial inclusion in Nigeria. She worked with the Central Bank of Nigeria and other financial regulators in the development of a range of policies and regulations aimed at deepening financial inclusion in Nigeria; some of these policies were focused on improving the gender gap.
