Faria Mridha Nitisha

Faria Nitisha is a dedicated Portfolio Manager in the Gender and Basic Services Portfolio at Innovision Consulting Private Limited. With a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka, Faria has honed her expertise in various areas of project management and coordination. Faria’s skill set encompasses literature review, research methodology design, data collection and analysis, report writing, presentations, project proposal preparation, client liaison, and event organizing. Her experience in qualitative and quantitative market research has allowed her to develop exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Over the past four years, Faria has actively contributed to numerous development projects with both national and international organizations. She has collaborated with esteemed institutions such as UN Women, World Bank, GAIN International, Abt Associates, PKSF, a2i, Migrant Nation, CCDB, Terwilliger Centre for Innovation in Shelter, CARE Bangladesh, ICCO, DCA, and several other donor organizations. Through her work, she has cultivated strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Faria’s recent engagements have centered around gender and women’s empowerment. She played a crucial role in the Gender Analysis of COVID-19 and Recent Disaster in Bangladesh for UN Women. Furthermore, she worked as a core researcher on a study commissioned by UN Women titled “Gender and Disaster Early Warning System in Bangladesh.” Currently, she serves as a project manager for the study “Gender-based behavior change campaigns under WING programme of UN Women Bangladesh.”

In addition to her development work, Faria has prior experience in the ready-made garments sector and has collaborated with NGOs/INGOs operating in the RMG industry. She actively participated in the “Baseline and End Line Study of Promoting Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women and Girls in the Clothing Industry Project” for CARE Bangladesh. Her involvement included qualitative and quantitative research, research design development, conducting key informant interviews and focused group discussions, report and presentation preparation, and coordination with clients, consulting teams, and partner organizations.
