Azmul specialises in DCED standards for results measurement. He leads the Monitoring and Evaluation Portfolio of Innovision Consulting Private Limited with extensive experiences in conducting baseline and end line studies, mid-term and final evaluation for development projects on child education, children and adolescent health, extreme poverty, financial inclusion, health and nutrition, WASH, DRR, livelihood, MSME, value chain and agricultural market systems development. He is proficient in developing the MRM manual, intervention plan, the theory of change, results chain and measurement plan for multilateral development projects. His hands-on knowledge in designing and managing private sector led interventions following the M4P approach is a great asset for Innovision. He gained strong facilitation skills in community mobilisation and capacity building following Participatory Market System Development (PMSD) with extensive diverse experiences in agriculture, fisheries, fertiliser, access to finance value chains and market systems.
Apart from the economic development works, Azmul has theoretical and practical knowledge in financial analysis, loan and corporate rating. Before joining Innovision in 2011, he worked at National Credit Ratings. He completed his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from University of Dhaka. Azmul is also an avid traveller and travel blogger.
