ASSESSMENT OF NEPALESE GARMENTS SECTOR

Innovision started the assessment of Nepalese Garments sector. The work is on behalf of the Ministry of Industries of Nepal and UKAid funded SAMARTH project.

Nepal once had a vibrant garments sector, but post-MFA period, the sector collapsed. There is renewed interest among the stakeholders with duty-free, quota-free access from USA to some garment items for 10 years. Innovision will try to develop strategy for the revival of Nepalese Garment industry through this assignment.
