Position Title: Associate / Junior Associate – Business Development & Communications
Reports to: Portfolio Director
Location: Head Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Type: Full-time

Position Summary

The Associate / Junior Associate will support Innovision’s business development and communications efforts by contributing to proposal preparation, donor engagement, and market research. The role requires strong analytical and writing skills, the ability to interpret bidding documents, and close collaboration with portfolio and technical teams to develop competitive proposals tailored to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Proposal Support

  • Contribute to the end-to-end development of proposals, EOIs, and other bidding documents, ensuring alignment with client requirements and donor guidelines.
  • Review and interpret EOIs, RFPs, and TORs, and coordinate with portfolio teams to prepare compliant and high-quality submissions.
  • Participate in internal strategy and bid review calls to discuss technical and administrative requirements.
  • Support budget inputs, document formatting, and final submission processes.

Market Research & Client Engagement

  • Conduct research on potential clients, donors, partners, and markets to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support stakeholder mapping and opportunity tracking for priority sectors and geographies.
  • Assist in developing insights to inform business development strategies.

Coordination & Knowledge Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams across the organization to support client acquisition and portfolio expansion.
  • Update and maintain proposal databases, credentials, CVs, and organizational documents.
  • Support internal communications and documentation related to business development activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-graduate/Master’s degree in Business Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in proposal writing, business development, or communications
  • (Fresh graduates with exceptional skills are encouraged to apply for Junior Associate roles).
  • Proven experience working with international donor organizations.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365; experience with Adobe Creative Suite will be an added advantage.
  • Strong ability to interpret RFPs, EOIs, TORs, and donor protocols.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and maintain positive working relationships.

Remuneration

Negotiable, depending on experience and skill set.
