Job Description:

• Design and develop research methodology and execution plan
• Develop various research tools, visit the field, and conduct data collection exercises including supervision/management of the data collection team
• Analyze collected data, generate insights from the data, and enunciate them in the report
• Prepare analytical report and presentation
• Prepare business/research proposals
• Maintain corporate relationships with existing clients and develop new clients

Key Qualifications/ Experience:

• Advanced degree in Applied Economics / Statistics / Development Studies or other closely related fields from any reputed national or international universities
• 1-2 years’ experience in research and analysis, monitoring and evaluation, and other related fields is required
• Adept in formative and professional writing in English (this is highly required)
• Comfortable with data gathering, data mining, data validation, and analysis. Proficiency in MS Office suite, SPSS/STATA, Atlas.ti/NVivo, and econometric modeling (this is highly required)
• The candidate should be self-motivated, confident, proactive, result oriented and detail-oriented
• The candidate should have the ability to work under pressure, have a continuous learning mindset, and a strong analytical ability

2. Senior Associate: Inclusive Financial Solutions Team

Job Description:

• Lead or supervise projects under the inclusive financial solutions portfolio
• Lead or support the development of financial products in collaboration with FinTechs, banks, and other financial/technology institutions
• Regularly conduct market mapping to identify key partners for project implementation and/or product development
• Identify sources of facilitating investments from international and/or local investors/funds to introduce new and innovative financial products in Bangladesh
• Support project proposal development – from identifying opportunities to developing proposals to winning the bids
• Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data for qualitative or quantitative studies. Such as surveys, focus group discussions, questionnaires, opinion polls, etc.
• Coordinate with the research consultants, field manager, and data analyst to extract data and delegate the data analysis process. Be willing to engage in the data collection and analysis process if necessary, to ensure the quality of the data is excellent
• Interpret the data collected, organize the information into statistical tables, prepare reports, make recommendations, and present findings to executives or clients
• Coordinate multiple projects with a quick turnaround
• Participate in seminars, webinars, and events on behalf of Innovision to promote our research findings and seek additional business opportunities
• Support the Technical Lead, Portfolio Manager, and Senior Management on business development, project implementation, and strategic roadmaps, among others

Key Qualifications/ Experience:

• Enthusiastic about (1) developing financial solutions, e.g., designing DFS products or arranging a collaboration between financial service providers, (2) aiming at improving the financial health of underserved segments (3) in a commercially viable and (4) sustainable manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics preferred. Business/BBA and STEM grads can also apply
• 3+ years’ experience in managing project(s) in a financial service provider (banks, NBFIs, MFS, DFS, FinTech), or providing Technical Assistance support to a financial service provider from a consulting firm required
• Proven experience in research, project implementation, and reporting preferred, with business proficiency and fluency in English and Bangla
• Post-graduate degrees and other relevant courses or certifications are a bonus
