Innovision Collaborates with IFC to Uncover Gender-Smart Climate Solutions in Bangladesh’s Private Sector

Innovision, in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), is undertaking the “Gender-Smart Climate Diagnostic: Business Case Research on the Gender x Climate Nexus in Bangladesh.” This initiative aims to build a compelling business case for integrating gender equality into private sector-led climate action by highlighting women’s roles across climate-relevant value chains in Bangladesh.

Through this collaboration, Innovision is exploring the intersections of gender, climate, and the green economy—focusing on women as employees, leaders, and entrepreneurs. Using an inclusive, locally grounded research approach, the team will:

🔹 Showcase the essential role women play in driving innovation and shaping climate solutions across industries
🔹 Bridge priorities between gender equality, climate action, and green employment to uncover opportunities and challenges
🔹 Examine barriers limiting women’s participation in climate-relevant sectors and identify strategies to enhance access to skilled, secure, and meaningful roles
🔹 Engage stakeholders and deliver gender-smart, actionable recommendations to support inclusive, climate-resilient business practices

This research marks an important step toward redefining how the private sector in Bangladesh approaches inclusive climate action. With a strong track record of generating locally rooted, globally relevant insights, Innovision remains at the forefront of advancing gender-smart, sustainable development.

At Innovision, we partner with changemakers to create inclusive, climate-resilient futures where women lead innovation and impact.
