Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) help accelerate industrialization, employment generation, and reduce poverty in emerging economies. MSMEs are also crucial for achieving environmental sustainability and more inclusive growth. Innovision has carried out studies and interventions that focused on facilitating SME development and supporting micro-enterprises. We have worked on facilitating access of women-led MSMEs to growth opportunities. We have also conducted studies to assess the ICT adoption trends among the SMEs in Bangladesh and the financing requirements of the micro-merchants and carried out a COVID-19 business pulse survey for MSMEs. We played an instrumental role in the development of the national financial inclusion strategy for the MSMEs in Bangladesh through our work on cluster and value chain financing for MSMEs in Bangladesh.
