Financial Inclusion

The disadvantaged men and women from lower-income strata suffer from social exclusion and have limited access to resources and economic opportunities. According to the World Bank, around 1.7 billion adults globally remain unbanked with a gender gap of 9 percentage points in financial account ownership. Lack of access to ICT and availability of appropriate financial products and services for the poor has been the main contributing factors to the financial exclusion of the marginal people. Innovision is working with digital financial service providers,, bank and non-bank financial institutions along with development partners to develop, market and sustain inclusive financial solutions for the unbanked. At present, Innovision is working to design innovative financial products for the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) and RMG workers, especially the women, that will facilitate their socio-economic empowerment.
