In the present world, the refugee crisis continues to afflict developing countries as they host around 86% of the global refugees (UNHCR Global Trends 2020). The refugee crisis poses a three-pronged threat to human security, economic security, and ecological security demanding the creation and coordination of public goods on a global scale. By hosting over one million Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs) or Rohingyas, Bangladesh has been providing a remarkable global public good. Since the onset of the Rohingya crisis, Innovision has been contributing in the response for the FDMNs by undertaking studies on conflict analysis, social cohesion, livelihood, resilience, peacebuilding targeting both the Rohingya and host communities in the Cox’s Bazar region of Bangladesh. Our team has also worked in Ethiopia to contribute in the development of the economic recovery initiatives for the Sudanese refugees.
