Innovision Co-Facilitates PROGRESS BizElevate Bootcamp to Strengthen Local ESG Advisory Capacity in Bangladesh’s RMG Sector

Innovision Consulting organised the BizElevate residential bootcamp under Swisscontact’s Promoting Green Growth in the Ready-Made Garments Sector Through Skills (PROGRESS) project, held on 12–13 December 2025. The bootcamp advanced the Training of Local Technical Consultancy Providers (LTCPs), supporting the development of a locally driven ESG advisory ecosystem for Bangladesh’s RMG sector.

Building on five weeks of intensive learning, 29 LTCPs participated in a blended programme combining ESG fundamentals, factory-level applications, and globally recognised GRI-aligned sustainability reporting. Innovision led BizElevate, an applied business development bootcamp designed to translate technical ESG knowledge into practical, client-ready consultancy services.

The programme strengthened participants’ commercial and advisory readiness through hands-on sessions on sustainability-linked and green finance, market positioning and client acquisition, pricing and proposal development, service packaging, and simulated consultancy engagements. Structured presentations allowed participants to demonstrate their learning, analytical depth, and market readiness, which were evaluated by a jury of industry experts.

The bootcamp sessions were enriched by the contributions of Mr. Mohammad Monower Hossain, Chief Sustainability Officer at Team Group; Md. Rubaiyath Sarwar, Managing Director of Innovision Consulting; and Mr. Khondkar Morshed Millat, former Director of the Sustainable Finance Department at Bangladesh Bank, current faculty member at BIBM, and ESG, Sustainability, and Sustainable Finance Advisor to PROGRESS. The programme was co-facilitated with SusNex Ltd., the project’s Specialized Consultancy Service Provider (SCSP). The resource persons also served as jury members and formally evaluated the presentation performances of the LTCPs.

Beyond technical and commercial learning, the residential format fostered peer collaboration and strengthened a growing community of ESG practitioners committed to supporting factory-level sustainability transformation across the RMG sector.

Through this cohort, the PROGRESS initiative, implemented by Swisscontact with support from the Embassies of Sweden and Switzerland, continues to strengthen local ESG capacity, enabling factories to meet evolving global sustainability, compliance, and competitiveness requirements. These LTCPs are expected to make a substantive and lasting contribution to ESG compliance and the sustainable development of Bangladesh’s industrial sector.

Innovision Consulting remains committed to building credible local ESG service markets and supporting Bangladesh’s transition toward greener, more inclusive industrial growth.
