VMware Workstation enables technical professionals to develop, test, demonstrate, and deploy software by running multiple Windows, Linux, and other x86-based operating systems simultaneously on the same computer.
You can replicate server, desktop, and tablet environments in virtual machines and assign multiple processor cores, gigabytes of main memory, and graphics memory to each virtual machine, whether the VM is on a personal computer or in a private enterprise cloud.

The issue is resolved
The following issues have been resolved in VMware Workstation
Linux guest operating systems loaded on EFI firmware sometimes become unresponsive to keyboard and mouse if any mouse movement occurs for a short time during OS boot. This issue has been resolved.
Outlook 2010 sometimes crashes when running in Unity mode. This issue has been resolved.
You cannot compress or defragment persistent disks. This issue has been resolved.
The UI sometimes crashes when users copy and paste files between two Windows guests. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed a rendering crash on UI elements in Fedora 20 guests with 3D enabled.
When creating a new virtual machine with SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) 12, the Easy Install path is not available. This issue has been resolved.
