    Sudipa completed her PhD from Politecnico di Milano (Italy) in December 2016. Her thesis revolved around complexities of supply management in large multinational corporations. Her professional life began in 2005, working in sectors such as furniture, plastic and agricultural tools. From 2005 to 2007, she helped the large corporations in these sectors to be more competitive by enhancing workers’ skills and technical know-hows. She worked in Singapore (2008-2009) as a consultant in projects of national library board of Singapore and Singapore Armed Force. After returning to Bangladesh in 2009, she joined department of Industrial and Production Engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

    In her life as an academician, she taught graduate level courses such as organization behavior, inventory management and supply chain management. Her Ph.D. has given her opportunities to mingle with two different cultures of Europe – Italy and Sweden. During her PhD she worked closely with supply chain professionals of companies such as Ericsson, Assa Abloy, and Vattenfall. Currently, she is working in the department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE), BUET as an Assistant Professor. Apart from teaching subjects like Industrial Management and Supply Chain Management, her job also involves conducting graduate and undergraduate research works, training, and consulting to different industries. Currently she is working closely with Hatil, the leading furniture brand in Bangadesh. She is helping Hatil to streamline their supply chain.
